LearningRlab: Educational R Package for Statistics in Computer Science Engineering

This paper describes and evaluates the educational interest of LearningRlab, an R package developed for teaching statistics in computer science engineering. The was by final degree project students to be used as environment who evaluated provided feedback future versions. Such a process increases motivation both groups students. presents how use packages conceived engineering education can improve learning bachelor’s degree. Two different evaluations, one performed group students, other were evaluate impact on first version develop second package, which corrects enhances version. evaluation results show positive effect subjects. analysis outcomes reflected grades experimental control demonstrates that LearningRlab aid subjects average laboratory grade (5.76) noticeably higher than did not it (1.84).
